AS THE WORLD CHURNS: SHAKE, SHAKE, AGITATE was an early incarnation of the live performance of the BUTTER BODY POLITIC, which would later become the BUTTER BODY POLITIC (2017) performance film, and the MOTHER (2019) live performance. Performers Jessica Posner, David Geer, and Sayeh Echo make butter and perform choreography informed by the language of butter. Sound design by Joannas Spitzner and Jessica Posner. Performed live as part of Movement Research at the Judson Church, Judson Church, NYC in 2015.
